Anesthesia Gas Machine / Boylas Apparatus

The ‘SUPRIMA’ anaesthesia gas machine is a continuous flow system capable of delivering a mixture of oxygen & nitrous oxide gas and anaesthetic agents-a most flexible system of proven reliability and low service cost with latest safety features.  A totally indigenous product with prompt after-sales-service.

The standard equipment includes:

  • Unitized rotameter block, to eliminate leakage, for oxygen & nitrous oxide. with fine adjustment control & colour coded knob and luminious back plate.  oxygen flow meter calibrated from 100 cc/min.  to 10 liters/min. & nitrous oxide flow meter from 220 cc/min. to 12 liters/min.  downstream receipt of oxygen.
  • One goldman type vaporizer for halothene supplied as standard.  Provision to mount three vaporizers at a time.
  • Non-return cum blow off valve in circuit ensures that pressure does not build-up beyond 200 cm.  water column & minimizes risk of back flow of gases.
  • Two pin indexed yokes with pre-set regulators for oxygen & two for nitrous oxide with indicator gauge for easy identification.
  • Circuit pressure gauge for easy determination of oxygen pressure in the line.
  • Integratede safety features “nitrous lock” nitrous oxide supply interlocked with oxygen, making it impossible for nitrous to be administered to patient in the absence of oxygen supply in yokes.  In addition rotameter ensure protection (hypoxic guard) against singular flow of nitrous oxide until minimum 1.2 lit. of oxygen is released.
  • An audible alarm is automatically activated if pressure of oxygen falls below 30 PSI.  Simultaneously it activates a peunmatice circuit to lock the flow of nitrous oxide.
  • Over head shelf for monitor at eye level.
  • Emergency drug  tray incorporated at convenient position.
  • Instrument tray ,made from stainless steel.
  • 60 PSI out let for driving Ventilator.
  • Change over unit provided at a convenient place which allows the equipment to be used in both open & close mode & has an integrated oxygen flush and outlet for fresh gases.
  • One open circuit of users choice (maggil’s/bain’s)
  • Space for two additional medium size cylinder at the rear.
  • Table structure constructed from sturdy square stainless stel/m.s. pipes and electrostatically powder coated.
  • Circle absourber (optional) can be easily mounted on the left side of table frame.
  • The Equipment is fitted with capacious drawer on four large diameter antistatic castor double ball bearing wheels for easy mobility and brakes on front wheels.
